This mill was built in the middle of the 12th century, in 1428 it became a forge, and in 1453 a paper mill. It was in use until at least the 1850ies (the information is not very clear in this point).
In 1980 it was refurbished and the museum was founded. Now the mill is used as centuries before to power the paper mill museum where each visitor is encouraged to create his own paper.
