Linthal is a railway station at the end of track Ziegelbrucke – Linthal.
The first part of the track between Weesen and Glarus was opened at 15 february 1859 by
the United Swiss railways. The last part to Linthal was opened on 29 may 1897.
The line was on 15 May 1933 with 15 000 volts electrified.
