York's McDonalds' entrance was originally at the first cross-intersection north of the Interstate exit. As traffic in the area increased, that intersection was closed, and now Interstate travelers have to go north to the David Drive traffic signals and double back on the west service road to get their fix. All the competition is there as well. Not to worry. Any Interstate exit that can support 600 motel beds (think mid-way between Chicago and Denver) has lots of hungry mouths to feed.

Most folks use the drive-up so the in-store dining area is relatively small. No playplace, no arcades -- just predictable fast food, clean restrooms (if you need that kind of stop), and back on the road.

While in the vicinity, contemplate our "hot air balloon" water tower (WMC6A) to the southwest, and log a visit. NevaP will be pleased.
