While hiking the famed "W" circuit, most tours will offer a trip on Lago Grey to the Pehoe Grey Glacier. Some tours will allow you to walk across the glacier, while others will take you in a boat safely away where you can see the calving off of the ice. Check out the blue color of the hardest, frozen ice that is being calved off and remember the global warming that is causing these glaciers to move back at an alarming rate. I hope you enjoy this experience as much as I did!
