After grown up, he was named TOKUGAWA Ieyasu, known as the first SHOGUN in Edo period.
He was hostaged by IMAGAWA Yoshimoto, another DAIMYO, from 8-19 yo here in Sunpu (Shizuoka). So the Shizuoka City built his statue on 19th March, 2001.
