Sale Fell is one of Wainwrights North Western Fells. It is not very high, but it's a fell that the whole family can have a go at and enjoy. The views from the summit, of Bassenthwaite Lake (the only true lake in the Lake District) and the Skiddaw range, are well worth the effort.
