Brickwork, pillars and handcrafted wrought iron form this elegant entrance to a house on Taupahi Road.
The wrought iron gate was probably made locally by an Italian craftsman whose family came here with a large group of Italian workers to work on the tunnels for the local Tongariro Hydro Electricity Scheme in the 1970s.
