Just off the Jamaicaway, opposite the intersection with Pond Street, is the boat house for Jamaica Pond. In front of the boat house is a flagstaff that has three flags on it and is in the shape of a nautical flagstaff, complete with gaff pole.
On Jamaica Pond the Courageous Sailing Center, non-profit public-private partnership runs the sailing operations here for children of all backgrounds. Their web site is below:
