At the boathouse and ranger station in Jamaica Pond Park, is a three flag display that has the U.S. flag at the top, the MIA flag on one side, and the Boston city flag on the other. The display is easily visible from the Jamaicaway. Parking is not easy in this area. Some cars park by the rotary where the Jamaicaway meets the Arborway.

The city of Boston flag is a blue flag with a white seal that has a gold border. The seal depicts the skyline of Boston from the harbor. It has sailing ships in the water, so the time must be earlier than 1900. Boston was established in 1630, and was incorporated as a city in 1822.
