Phare de Pertusato lighthouse was erected on Cape Pertusato (Capo Pertusato), 99 meters above the sea level, in 1844. White tower of the lighthouse, 16 m tall, is equipped by a white 1000 W halogen lamp which flashes 2 times per 10 seconds.
Lighhouse's range of visibility is 25 miles (approximately 46 km). Phare de Pertusato is automated, not guarded and not open to visitors.
Walk along the cliffs of Bonifacio to the Pertusato lighthouse offers really stunning views back towards the town and out over the Straits towards Sardinia.
