This marker was placed by the Rotary Club to replace an old marker which was becoming very worn, and was actually in the wrong spot.
The marker is one of many things to stop and enjoy on the seawalk.
At the unveiling, anyone who was celebrating their 50th birthday or 50th wedding anniversary that year was invited to be part of the offical photo.
