The cemetery is located about 300 meters East of the historic center of Ascona. It's the only cemetry in town so it does not have any special name.
It is typically Mediterranean with lots of big marmoreal monuments. This area has been used as a cemetery since the Middle Ages. The size is hard to tell when you're not familiar with this type of graves, I estimate something around 2000 graves, but I could be completely wrong.
