Kayak trip that is ver y famous in Belgium.
Very easy trip cat 1 and 2.There are two descents you can choose from.
One from the top +/- 10 kilometers and the one that starst in the middel of the river Lesse,+/- 5 kilometers.
In the week-end it's a crowded place(see pic).
Every think is for rent.
Parking/put-in/launching information:
At the end point there is a big parking.They bring you with a bus to the starting point.
Paddling conditions to be expected:
Stream river water cat 1 and 2
Difficulty of the trip:
For everyone.Experience people will only do this one after havy rain fall and not in the week-ends.
On weekdays you will be almost alone,and then it is nice.
Length of trip: +/- 7 mills - 4 hours
Portages:
cat 1 and 2 - 7 mills - easy
Permits required:
No permits.
Type of trip:
They bring you to the top and then you peddel down to the starting point
Other information:
There are a lot of campingsites and hotels.
If you do the trip in the week you will enjoy the beautiful nature around the river.
