La ermita o capilla románica de A Lanzada data de fines del siglo XII e inicios del XIII y se encuentra en un promontorio de gran belleza sobre los restos de una fortaleza del siglo X que formaba parte del sistema de defensa litoral, conocidos como Torre de A Lanzada. La fortaleza sufrió diversos ataques desde el siglo XII hasta quedar definitivamente destruida a mediados del XV. La capilla tiene una única nave y un ábside semicircular, destacando un rosetón en su cara occidental.

The Romanesque chapel of A Lanzada dates from the late twelfth century and the beginning of XIII and is located in a beautiful promontory on the remains of a tenth century fort that was part of the coastal defense system, known as Tower A Lanzada. The fortress suffered various attacks from the XIIth century to be finally destroyed by the middle of XVth. The chapel has a single nave and a semicircular apse, highlighting a rose in its western side.
