Annapolis is the capitol of Maryland. Even though it's small in size, there's a lot to see.

Downtown Annapolis is small, but there's lots too see within walking distance. The State House building is located a upon a small hill. Tours are available at the visitors center. In downtown Annapolis you can also visit the Alex Haley Memorial stand at the edge of the bay. Also in downtown are some good restaurants Personally I prefer getting crab when in Maryland, but there are a lot of choices. It's also worth visiting some of the historical house. Many of them, like the Paca House are on the National Register of Historic Places.
