It's one of the campgrounds close to Basel. There are connections to the town by train, bus, or ship. The village itself is well-known because of its many extraordinary Roman relics.
It is directly at the Rhine that is the border to Germany, the river is clean enough to swim here.

There is a section for permanent residents, usually RVs owned by locals. The other sections are often used for overnight stops from North to South and back, e.g. Dutch tourists on their way to Italy.
