Built in 1897, then this was the most modern production company all over Switzerland. The yearly output was 60'000 hl.

1984 it was bought by Hürlimann another local brewery, 2001 it was put out of service.

Now it's used for cultural events. Modification of the area has started in 2008. There will be galleries and apartments in 2013
