Frank Jones, a self made millionaire, owned the Rockingham Hotel and he had the famous lions installed. In 1973 the hotel was turned into condos. The Library Restaurant now occupies the old dining room. The lions were recently restored and look great. I have had dinner a few times in the restaurant and recommend it highly.
