Joe's Farm Grill was built was created from the Johnston Family home originally built in 1966. The family had sold a large percentage of their farmland for a housing development named Agritopia which resides in view of the restaurant. A small organic farm remains. This is the second restaurant for the family with Joe's BBQ located in downtown Gilbert.
The restaurant is very ornate with windmills for signs, vine fences, and elements of the original family home in place.
