The three panelled mosaic, designed by local artist Ariana Windle, was made by villagers of all ages (particularly the over 60s). Each panel, made from recycled tiles, depicts some important aspect of local village life.
The central panel depicts St. Giles Church with a lark in the sky and the churchyard below. The gravestones are made from pieces of crockery found with writing on them.
Another panel shows the River Windrush with a heron and a fisherman, and the third represents one of the many lakes with water fowl and fish.
All three are set in an iron work frame made by local welder Matthew Prickett
