The new building sits on a high Missouri River bluff that overlooks the river in one direction and also looks down on the historic Missouri State Penitentiary that was decommissioned in 2004.

The building was named in honor of Meriwether Lewis and William Clark and the 1804-1806 expedition they led. It honors their spirit of discovery, diplomacy and stewardship and also to commemorate the bicentennial of President Thomas Jefferson's "Corps of Discovery" journey.

BNIM Architects of Kansas City designed and built the four-story 120,000 square foot office building that exemplifies "Green" design principles.

The site of the building has a great view of the Missouri River and broad river valley in the distance. Visit the building's central atrium and see for yourself!
