The first words written of this catle where from the year 1300.Since that time the castle changed a lot.It was burnd down,plundered and torn down by the german troops in 1944.After the war Baron van Der Elst bought the grounds and change the castle as its today.It has a beautiful garden.The problem is that is closed for public.
