Excellent museum for anyone interested in the westward expansion trails. Great overview for all trails, really gives someone some excellent information to start their trip.

A very interesting sculpture is outside the museum looks sinceless, but be sure to ask about it. It is the topographical plot that the trans-contental railroad took. After traveling the eastern half of the Oregon Trail, the railroad paralleled the majority of the trail.
