Shallow Crossing Campground, 14km from the main road, is a great place for camping, fishing and swimming with heaps of room on the grassy meadow.

With ample room for literally hundreds of campers, Shallow Crossing Campground is a great place to camp with the family (or without!), with the nearby Clyde river providing great fishing, swimming, and a pick-your-own berry farm (seasonal) a little further up the road.


The photos don't do the area justice I'm afraid - there is a huge expanse of room here, and there were many campers enjoying the area. Friends of ours have camped here, and we may do so too in the near future.
