This large lake is about a mile long and is the only lake in Snowdonia where power boats and water skiing are allowed. This website details the area (visit link)

The lake is also used by Plas-y-Brenin for training and many parties can be seen using the water to learn to canoe.

There is a car park at the other end of the lake and many footpaths all around including access around the lake. The ramp is a concrete one with an adjacent stream.
