The water has a high level of iron, although it's safe to drink it. It has natural gas and a constant temperature of 17ºC, due to the influence of the volcanic area. Although there aren't many specific references, it's volume is about 0,5liter/second.
In the island of São Miguel, it's the most well known natural spring. It's color, taste and view is a unique experience.
The locals recommend it, particularly during the digestion since it helps the digestive system.
We drank it... and it was nice!
