Alexandra Fountain - Fountains on Waymarking.com

The original Alexandra Fountain was constructed in 1881 by T.Sanders and the stonework by P.H. FIN & J.G. Quinn.
The fountain was later pulled down for reasons out of my knowledge.
Reconstruction to the fountain went underway in 2 stages in the year 1999 funded by the City Of Greater Bendigo and with support from the state government of Victoria.
The new restored fountain was opened in 2001 by the mayor of Bendigo Barry Ackerman.
