Most of Chicago's major attractions are within walking distance of the J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family Hostel.
If you turn right as you walk out the door, you are transported to the Chicago Loop and its historic financial district and other architectual masterpieces such as the Sears Tower.
Turning left will take you to Grant Park and the Museum Campus with the Art Institute of Chicago, Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, and Adler Planetarium.
All this is available for $35 dollars or less if you are a member of Hostelling International.
Because of the popular events at Grant Park, reservations are required.
