One of Kungbackas benchmarks, high up on a mountain and within the traditional Swedish stone triangle (benchmarks are referred to as Triangle points in Seden).

Stumbled accross this benchmark while tracking for the geocache on mountain Kollaberget.
Most benchmarks in Kungsbacka have been restored with a modern tag, but this appears to be an original - seem to have been left to decay in nature for a long long time without maintenance. The iron remains of the original benchmark have more or less rusted away, leaving the traditional swedish benchmark Triangle as the primary marker, and just a small modern metal piece hammered into the original.
From this place, you have an superb view for many miles which probably explains why it was choosen for mapping purposes.
