This Smokey the Bear fire rating sign stands outside the office of the Boulder Ranger District for the Roosevelt National Forest.
On northbound I-36, he faces those who are headed into the Rocky Mountains enroute to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park reminding them to be careful with fire.
