Egholm is a small island north of the city of Aalborg. Only about 60 people live here. Some of them are farmers, the others work in Aalborg. On the island you can enjoy hiking, going by bike or watching animals such as the famous local goose or deer which had been set free.

To go there you need to take the ferry south of Egholm and cross the river Limfjord. The ferry is a unique experience on its own.

The island is very flat and you can see the sea from almost everwhere. I would like to encourage you to walk around, there are some really magic places just waiting to be discouvered. There is also a good restaurant right where you leave the ferry.

Please post some pictures of you or your GPS on the island and name a place or an event which has attracted you the most on Egholm.
