Manilla is a small town of population approx 3500 in town and surrounding district. Manilla is known for it's agriculture, fishing and small amount of tourism, including the being internationally recognised for its Paragliding World Championship held in 2007.

Manilla is one of many towns surrounded by Gold mines, and forms part of the 'Fossickers Way'. More information can be found here:
