This artwork above the doors of the building is easily visible from Main Street/Route 114 in downtown Warren, RI.
The main piece is rectangular and has many deeply carved elements on it. On the upper left side is the original name of the settlement, Sowams, which was settled by the Pilgrims in 1621. The town itself was incorporated in 1746 [translated from Roman numerals]. The door itself is beyond the brick arch.
