The University of Oregon’s Fight song was written and performed first in 1916. One of the verses mentions Deady Hall The first building built on the U of O campus.

The fight song has been updated and the current lyrics were produced in an effort to be more politically correct.



The original 3 verse version didn't seem too offensive to me but it is definatly dated (oh baby baby is not mentioned even once in the original score).
