Tower of Chimes
This tower is dedicated to the founders of Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Dan and anna Greene
They resolved on the 7th day of April 1952 that they would endeavor to build Evergreen Memorial Park different and ulike the old fashioned cemeteries. As sunshine is unlike darkness, as life is unlike death, they endeavored to build a park of beauty aided by capable engineers, architects and landscape gardeners. A place where sweeping green lawns, lovely evergreen shrubs, trees, pools, music, life, love and beauty will be symbolic of life eternal; where flowers in abundance will bloom from early spring until late fall they strived to make it truly God's Garden. Where the sorrowing will be consoled by its magnificant beauty and tranquility. Where people, young and old, will come from miles around to enjoy the beauty and love that is expressed here.
