The huge metallic cross on summit of Radobýl hill was erected in 1992. From the cross is almost 360° panoramic view of central part of Ceské stredohorí Mts., Litomerice, Terezín and Lovosice.

The first Christian cross on the Radobýl hill summit is documented in 1662. In 1862 was older wooden cross replaced by steel one, which was destroyed by windstorm in 1984. The current (...eigth in sequence) cross was placed on the summit in 1992.

Describe the location:

Radobýl (399 m) is a basalt hill in České středohoří Mts. (Czech Central Mts.), Czech Republic. It rises above village of Žalhostice on right bank of the Elbe River 3 km west of Litoměřice. Part of the hill with abandoned basalt quarry and rich rock steppe flora is under protection as Radobýl Nature Monument (Přírodní památka Radobýl). The hill is a popular hiking destination.
