The reconstructed Sudekum Planetarium opened on June 28, 2008 with a 6-sided pyramid on its roof to help enclose the domed projection screen inside.

Visiting the exterior of the pyramid is free, but admission to the Adventure Science Center and additional fee for a ticket if you want to see a show on the inside.
