?Jean Lafitte Historical Park and Preserve is 6 park sites throughout south Louisiana. This one in Thibodaux, features a walking trail, "Guided Boat Tour" of the Bayou Lafourche, movies, displays and Traditional boat building classes. I stumbled upon this and was fasinated to learn this existed. I never knew about it. The other 5 parks I have learned about and plan to visit. The preservation of the Cajun/Acadian culture is the main theme of this location.
Site is also a National Park Cancellation station
