The Wapack Trail name comes from the two end points - Mount Watatic in MA, and Pack Monadnock Mountain in NH. This is the southern terminus, at Route 119 in Ashburnham, MA. Parking is at this trailhead. The Mid-state trail runs concurrent with this section - as indicated by the signs on the highway. For the northern end of the 21-mile Wapack, see waymark WM629V, and for the Pratt Mountain overlook, see WM5Y4F.
