The stadium of Soldier Field is dedicated as a memorial to American soldiers who died in wars. However, this monument located near the north entrance is also "Dedicated to the Defenders of our Liberty."
The back of the monument inscribed with a quote from John Fitzgerald Kennedy: "Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and the success of liberty."
