The home of the hottest BBQ sauce I have experienced on this planet. Formerly an auto garage, Dixie's has some of the best BBQ in the world. The owner, Gene Porter, is well known for introducing his patrons to "The Man" -- his thermonuclear BBQ sauce. He frequently will walk through the restaurant, asking you if you want to meet "The Man." Do not refuse. You only have two choices : a little bit of "The Man" on a toothpick, or for the foolhardy, a healthy dose of "The Man", which has been known to sear through styrofoam and esophagi. Regardless, the BBQ here is unparalleled.
