Founded in 1877, the National Science Museum boasts one of the richest histories of any museum in Japan, and is Japan's only nationally administered museum.

The mission of the National Science Museum is to deepen public awareness of the Earth, life, science and technology. In so doing, we aim to contribute to a dialog on what the desirable relationship should be between the public and nature, science and technology.
For my experience, this museum made my future; I decided to study Geology in University, and I did! Amazing, interesting, Awsome, no word can describe my surprises when I felt at the age seven!
