This tree stands at the east end of the town's park known as Tavistock Meadows, not far from the canal and the Swimming pool.

This tree was planted
on 6th May 1935 by
Councillor A. B Treloar,
chairman Tavistock UDC
to commemorate
the Silver Jubilee of
King George V

Sadly this tree is NOT the best example in the park!
