Cousins Paintball in Manchester (actually Whiting) offers enthusiasts a safe, target rich enviroment for play. One of Cousin's Paintball fields, their only one in New Jersey. In the Pine Barrens, the fields offer great woods pla, but speedball fields are also available. Saturdays enjoy Scenario Paintball, with missions and objectives.
This is the field where my husband and I played the most, and where refereed for many years. (not just crazy enough to get in a gunfight, but also to stand in the middle to watch who gets hit first.)
What makes this the place to play?
1) They stay on top of safety. Always ensuring markers are turned down under 290 fps (chrono for all markers) and watching for potential problems, like people raising masks during play.
2) A good number of referees per game. (making sure game is fair and safe)
3) Great fields. (there's over 40 acres of great wood play and speedball fields and more to develop)
4) The company running this field is one of the oldest in the sport. These are some of the guys (and girls) that helped create and develop the sport.
5) The fields back up to Ft Dix's Bivouac fields, so it's not uncommon to have a fly-over, or hear the punches of machine guns in the background.
Paint and air refills available on site, as well as camo rentals. There is also a full paintball store with markers and equipment.
