As a beloved aunt, Cora Mae Augustine is buried in the Fosdick family plot of Graceland Cemetery in Fairbury, Illinois.

In 1985 Cora Mae was one of three finalists for Pontiac, IL Citizen of the Year, so she was beloved by more than just her family.

As a resident of the Ponitac, Illinois area, Ms Augustine would have witnessed the rise and fall of US Route 66 as one of the most important local events along with all the joys and sorrows, ups and downs of the - her - 20th Century.
