The University of Queensland maintains a beautiful campus with plenty of open spaces to sit and relax in. The Lakes are a series of 3 man made lakes surrounded by landscaped gardens, walking tracks roads and buildings.
At this location you will find a shady spot to stop and view the fountain in the main lake. You will also see the bird life that made this area their home.
You may also see the sometimes rare "student" that appears from time to time :).
This Waymark is at the location of a cache, Pico UQ (GC16B8E), that has now been archived due to muggle activity, but I still feel this location is worth a visit.
