Richman Ice Cream Company was founded in 1894 and the original site is here in Woodstown, NJ.
The ice cream company was sold to a private US family company in the late 1980s.
Unfortunately Richman's closed in 2009 and is vacant.

Richman's Ice Cream started out as Richman's Dairy in 1894. The cast concrete Art Deco façade is from 1947 and is an enjoyable part of the experience of having an ice cream here. There was a smaller location in Sharptown but that is gone. The ice cream is not actually made here any more but it is damned good anyway and there is also a full-scale restaurant.
