CHATEAU Au Moyen-Age, PONTEVES était le chef lieu d’une puissante seigneurie dont dépendait la ville voisine de Barjols. Cité comme Castellum dès 1021, le château est situé sur une éminence rocheuse qui surplombe la plaine.
