This stadium is the the home of the Orem Owlz, Rookie League affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The 2,500 seat stadium (with seating for up to 500 more on the grass berm along the left-field line) is located on the campus of Utah Valley University, and also serves as the home for the school's baseball team, the UVU Wolverines.
The stadium was originally supposed to be named Parkway Crossing Stadium after a local development company pledged $1.7 M to help pay for its construction in exchange for naming rights, naming it after their neighboring apartment complex. When the company failed to deliver on it's pledge, the school's administration removed all signage from the stadium making reference to the name. On June 13, 2007, The stadium was officially named the Brent Brown Ballpark when local auto dealer, Brent Brown, purchased the naming rights for ten years for $1,000,000.
