Szentendre, with its colorful houses, narrow alleys, and two-dozen museums, is the most frequently visited tourist center along the Danube. The 'Sundial House' (Napórásház) is environmental education centre in the town. It was set up in 2006 by Forest School Foundation.
The Sundial House was dedicated to educating about ecology and nature conservation. The public can access many worshops, conferences, and programs there.
The sundial is quite high on the Southern wall. It is a new, decorative, but simple and not too precise construction.
